Marset is looking for a A&D Contract Sales Manager to join its UK sales team.

Marset is a leading decorative Lighting manufacturer for indoors and outdoors solutions.

Marset has been established in the UK and Ireland as a premium brand both in retail and online as well as in the contract business. To further expand sales in the UK in we are looking for an A&D Contract Sales Manager, who will be responsible of the development and growth of our business within the A&D and contract community in the United Kingdom.

About you

Ideally you must have experience calling on the architectural, interior and lighting designers’ community. Providing an existing network/relationship with key accounts or specifiers within the A&D community in the UK and Ireland will be a plus.

Experienced in promoting and selling products through quality, design, and emotional value rather than focusing on price. A natural salesperson, who thrives on customer interaction and relationships.

High quality, high-end decorative lighting or furniture products experience needed.
Deep understanding and passion for the design industry. Knowledge of products, processes, technology, and electrical and construction conditions.
Adequate knowledge of competitors, their products, and the specifier-distributor-contractor chain.

A highly motivated, self-policing, pro-active, goal oriented professional, but able to work collaboratively and supportively as a team member. Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Enthusiasm and desire to sell, resourceful and with good organization.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, user skills about Microsoft CRM software will be a plus. Written and verbal English communication skills essential.

About the role

Primary Responsibilities

    • Strengthen existing customer relationships within the A&D and contract community. Offering training sessions, technical knowledge, and transmission of the brand values.
    • Maintain and expand the customer base of contract sales, by calling on new specifiers and contract dealers as well as hotel owners and key accounts in the territory.
    • Build relationships with key product specifiers in the territories by contacting and calling on architects, interior designers, lighting designers in the territory.
    • Project management and follow-up. From concept to installation.
    • Availability to travel 35-50 % of the time in the UK.
    • Required training sessions in our HQ in Barcelona and trade shows and events.
