Marset Featuring
A project of Marta Vidal
Science says that a body introduced to an organism that it does not belong to is a foreign body. What it does not say is that sometimes when one body lands on another, something Martian happens – two seemingly antagonistic worlds create their own. And what happens then? Beauty happens. Is beauty not strange? Evoked by this thought, the photographer Marta Vidal created “Strange Bodies”– a dialogue between two disparate elements. A visual conversation inspired by the spectrum of the Ginger collection by Joan Gaspar and the concern to integrate it outside its context. Marta takes Ginger to a new, more distant world, yet curiously closer to its own.
